     In the modern society, the Internet becomes very important in many people's life. People use it everywhere, so the Internet makes our world more convenient, but it also causes many serious problems to everyone.

     The Internet has many benefits in our life. And here are some benefits of it. First, we can know something important through the Internet. Second, the Internet can let us get some information or news to help us finish homework or the report easily. Third, some people can use the Internet to follow many actors’ current situations or watch famous videos on YouTube. Fourth, the Internet can also help us to buy some tickets, and we do not need to waste time standing in a line. Fifth, we can play games, listen to music or watch movies on the Internet to relax.

     Although the Internet is very useful, many people use it in the wrong way. For example, some people use the Internet to deceive others and steal money. Some students play on-line games all night and harm their body. Also, some people make bad friends on the Internet and go astray. And some websites give wrong messages to the children and make them unable to tell what is right from wrong. Many people use the Internet all day long and forget how to talk to others in the real world.

      The Internet is important now. Many people cannot live without the Internet because it is really useful. But some people use it in the wrong way, and make the Internet world become dangerous. If we do not fix these problems, we will not keep progressing. I hoped I can make good use of the Internet to help better my life and carry out my dream rather than be controlled and become its slaves.

     Nowadays, most people in the world are indulging in the Internet world, but is the world of the Internet good for us? Mostly, people think that the Internet is useful and interesting for our life. I think that using the internet can let my brain become more flexible and feel more relaxed. A lot of programs and games on the Internet bring us lots of convenience and fun. And they deeply attract everyone’s attention. But sometimes I think that making use of the Internet have bad influence upon our physical and psychological health. In the reality, the Internet is everywhere, and everyone is using their cellphone all the time. Because of this, lots of accidents happened. And I think that we have a serious problem while using the Internet. We should not use the Internet for too long. It is not good for our eyes and was detrimental for our health.

The Internet is actually designed for us to find informations. Some people will always rely on the Internet. Although I think the Internet is a good medium for us to get a lot of useful information. I do not agree to use the Internet so frequently just because people do not want to think about things by themselves.

     The Internet seems to make our life become convenient, but it also bring us a lot of social problems. The Internet should be only a wise dictionary for us to search for something we need. We should not be controlled by the Internet. For example, some people would be attracted by the Internet through their cellphone while they were driving a car. It was very dangerous and should not even happen. So I think that we should not be controlled by the Internet.

     Technology always comes from humanity, inventions always come from demands. Many important inventions appeared because people needed them, like the bulb, and the airplane. Why did Edison try so many times, and fail so many times, just wanted to invent a light bulb? Why did the Wright brothers spend so much time making a flying machine? It was was because the contemporary people wanted them. They wanted to fly in the sky. They wanted to get light easily. Without the demands from people, many great inventions even would not come to this world.

     The Internet was also from people’s demands. Because people want to live easily because people wanted to meet others without moving, the Internet appeared. Computers, cellphones, and on-line TV programs; YouTube, MSN, and Facebook. The Internet made us get in touch with other people easily. Now, if we want to talk with our friends, we do not need to go out anymore, we can just stay home, and chat with them on communication websites. If we want to buy something, we can just order it at a transaction website. What a convenient world it is! With the Internet, we can do almost everything at home!

     Although the Internet world is so convenient, in some ways,it makes the real world become worse and worse now. Because of the Internet, people even don’t need to go out. The consequence is, more and more people stay at home all the day. People become lazier and lazier. Besides, people are attracted by the Internet very much. Adults play computer games while they are working. Students can’t pay attention during the class. Many people are using their smartphones to surf the Internet while they are walking even driving! Tim Berners-Lee invented the Internet because he wanted to make the world more creative and convenient, rather than make the people unable to live or think without the Internet now!

     The internet is made to improve the people’s life, but when it start to make people’s life worse and worse, we should know this is wrong. The Internet is a tool to help people to make this world better, it’s not drugs to make people indulged in it. We should stop playing computer games and cellphone games. Using the Internet to improve our life, we can controlled the Internet and won’t be slaves of the Internet.

     This summer vacation was a great time to me. My mom, my dad, my little sister and I went on a trip to Hualian. Taking a trip is always our hobby, so my sister and I were very exciting since we heard the great news.

     I think the most impressive place we went was the Far Glory Ocean Park. It was near the sea and on the mountain. We arrived there at about nine o’clock in the morning. Although it was raining, we were still very happy and could not wait for playing! After wearing the heavy raincoats, we ran to the amusement park of the ocean park. My sister told me that she wanted to ride on the rollercoaster, when she told me, I thought she was crazy! She must cry or throw up after she played that rollercoaster!

     However, when we got off the rollercoaster, she was still very happy and she wanted to play that again! And me? I would be the first to admit that I was a timid person, I was very afraid of the rollercoaster however big or small, and high or low it is. The only thing I thought was---I hate the rollercoaster! I would not play, or see that terrible thing any more!

     After playing the rollercoaster, we saw a cool entrance in front of us, without thinking, we stood in line to enter it. When we finally knew what it was, I felt regretful----we discovered that it was the tallest building in the ocean park, and it was the rollercoaster in the water. I hoped that I would not die after playing that!

     After a starting bell rang, the boat started to move, and I felt like a baby before getting a vaccine. The boat took us higher and higher. My sister laughed a lot; I thought she fear nothing. I only remember that I almost flew away! And I could not close my mouth because it was filled with air. Finally I got off the rollercoaster, I almost threw up after playing that.

     This journey impresses me a lot. I think I become braver now! This trip will be a symbolize of my summer vacation.

     This summer, my mother took me, my brother, and some friends to Yilan for two days. In the first day morning, we went to Yilan International Childen’s Folklore & Folkgame Festival. There were so many people there. We spent thirty minutes parking the car. Everyone was laughing. My brother and I went to play the slide again and again. It was so exciting and refreshing. After we played in the water, we went to the National Center for Traditional Arts by boat. We took a lot of pictures on the boat. Then, we shopped at the Traditional Handcraft Artists’s Studios. There were so many special sonvenirs. We visited every store, and we also DIY over there. I thought the store which shows a lot of gold sculptures was the most special and unusual store there because all of the sculptures are made of gold and they were very exquisite.

     We went to a guesthouse at about four thirty in the afternoon. The guesthouse had a beautiful garden. There were many colorful flowers. The living room was beautiful, too. There were a black coffee table, a white sofa, and a big television in the living room. It made me feel comfortable. The rooms were all different. There were four kinds of stylish rooms. Everything in my room was pink. My mother and my brother lived in the biggest room. Inside their room are two beds and a bathtub. We took a bath quickly, and then we went to our next destination, Luotung Night Market.

There were a lot of people at the night market when we arrived. Around there, many shops served traditional local foods and commodities for people to buy. It was the local center of shopping. We bought a lot of delicacies for dinner, midnight snacks, and also some souvenirs to bring back home. At last, we went back to the guesthouse at eleven.

     For the secoud day, we had breakfast at the guesthouse, and then we went to the last scenic spot, the Cold Spring of Su-Ao. The cold spring was the best place worth visiting in summer, because it was so refreshing. My friends and I played volleyball in the water. My brother fell in the water because he wanted to hit the ball. We also played lots of fun games in the cold spring, like swimming race. Everyone was happy and sacked when we got in the car. Finally, we all went home.

     The trip to Yilan was the best memory I had had. The most interesting place was the cold spring because we played a lot of games there and had fun there. And various delicious and famous foods everywhere at the night market deeply attracted me and surely we are enjoyed eating them, so it was really a good place worthy of visiting. That’s why I loved it so much and hoped I would go there again with my family.

     In this summer vacation, my mother and father planned to take a three-day trip to Hualien. On the day before the trip, my brother and I prepared the clothes and some snacks, and then we went to sleep. We were very excited.

     We got up at five o’clock in the early morning. There were almost no cars on the highway. We arrived at 7-11 in Yilan and finished our breakfast. Then we headed to a famous restaurant in Hualien. The mountain road to Hualien was full of twists and turns. Finally, we got there and had some tasty Chinese ravioli for lunch. After lunch, we went to the hotel for the check-in. In the afternoon, Dad took my brother and I to ride bikes around the hotel. We enjoyed taking a hot spring bath in the hotel at night.

     The next day, we got up at six o’clock. We checked out of the hotel and headed to Mt. Liushihtan. The mountain was covered with lots of golden daylilies. We were all surprised by the beautiful scenery. We took some photos, and then we went to Chike Mountain for lunch and more scenery. We ate daylily soup, fried daylily, and daylily salad for lunch. After the delicious lunch, we left for the hotel. We were going to stay there that night. A few hours later, we went to the nightmarket to buy dinner. We bought some fruit juice, porridge, stinky tofu, seafood coffin bread, and oyster vermicelli. When we finished the dinner, we all went to sleep with satisfaction.

     We got up a bit later the next morning, but it didn’t matter. We finished our sandwiches and went to Farglory Ocean Park. We reached there, and the first thing to do was to get in the cable car. Next, we rode on a roller coaster, except my brother. He didn’t dare to ride on it. When the car started to climb on the track, we were all excited. The most surprising thing was, when the car got to the top, the panel under it began to rotate. It was going to move backward! It went down so fast that Mom screamed so hard. After playing all day long, we went home. What a great trip it was!

    From August 16, 2013 to August 18, 2013, I went to Kaohsiung and Tainan with my cousins, uncle, aunt, and grandmother. We got up at eight o’clock in the morning. Everyone was very exhilarated and hoped to depart for Tainan. We started our travel at eight thirty in the early morning.

     On the first day, we went to the sugar refinery to eat ice cream. The ice cream there had different kinds of flavors from other places. It tasted really good! After that, we visited the towel factory, I bought a beautiful cake that was made of a towel. It was so special! Later, we went to the animal’s home. There were a lot of animals there. We could feed the animals with the grass and milk. The animals were so cute there! At night, we got to the hotel. It was so luxury that when we got in, everyone screeched. There was a swimming pool, a gym, and a hot spring in the hotel. We had a beautiful day.

      The next day, we woke up at six thirty in the morning. And after that, we had breakfast in the beautiful restaurant. Then we went to the swimming pool to have fun. We went to E-DA Amusement Park. I was so happy that day. We saw a great parade show to end the second day.

     On the last day, we went for the last stroke, water and fire homologous. It was so cool that we could not even believe what we saw. After all the schedule was done happily, we were on the way home! We got home at six forty-five in the evening.

    During this trip, we had an accident on the road, someone who ignored public morals threw a thing like thumbtack on the road and made our car tire become a flat one. We were so angry about that. I hope it will not happen during our next trip. Although this trip was not perfect, I was impressed for the fun trip!

     Yeah! We eventually could take a trip overseas again. Last time we went to Thailand. It was very fun. But this time we wanted to go to more places to have fun there.

     One Friday evening, we went to the Keelung Harbor because our special transportation was there. When I got out of the car, I looked at it at once. It was this trip’s protagonist, the luxury cruise, Aquarius. We were so excited when we saw it. It was big, tall, romantic and grandeur. We all very liked it very much. During this trip, we would go to Japan's small island, Ishigakijima. When we went on the Aquarius, it was almost 8:00 p.m., so the first thing we did on the Aquarius was to eat the dinner. Because there were many people on the Aquarius, so the tables of the restaurants were not enough. Luckily, we found a small restaurant where there were not many people, so we could finally eat dinner. After we ate dinner, we went to bed.

The next morning, we went to use the luxury cruise's facilities. We went to the gymnasium, KTV, the poolroom, swimming pool, and we also watched the magic show. After we had lunch, we arrived at the Ishigakijima because we only stayed for about seven hours, so we quickly went to the first place. It was a beautiful lake, the biggest lake that I had ever seen. The sandy beach was very clean, and the water was blue, like the sapphire. We went snorkeling and went for a paddle there for three hours. Then we kept eating during the trip. We also saw and played with many funny things. Lastly, we went to the biggest supermarket on that island. We bought a lot of food and drink there. We all liked everything very much there.

     When we went back to the Aquarius, we kept enjoying the facilities, and I remembered we saw many dolphins and a whale. The dolphins were very cute and the whale was singing a perfect song. It made us very comfortable. All of us like this trip, and I would never forget about this wonderful place.

    During summer vacation, my family, my friends and I went travel to Guam together. There were a lot of beautiful views and lovely memories that made me lingered on there.

    First, we board the airplane at about eleven Saturday night. We took Hello Kitty plane to Guam. The spoon, the fork, and the barf bag, everything in the plane were Hello Kitty on it. Then we arrived there. It’s about 5 a.m. in Guam, and Taiwan is 3 a.m. So we all had jet let then. Our tour guide took us to do sightseeing.

We went to a rocky coast and saw a beautiful sea. The sea is very shallow and limpid. Next, we went to a magnificent church. It’s a Gothic building. The church called St. Joseph church. It was built in 1680, and then reconstructed in1940. There is a high spires around it and lemon yellow walls on it. Then, my sister and I went to the ‘‘Latte,’’ a stone of Chamorro’s ( an aboriginal in Guam) house. And we saw the replica of ‘‘statue of liberty’’ Finally, we went to ‘‘two lover’s point.’’ There was a watchtower, and we could see beautiful sea. By the watchtower, there was a bell. It was a romantic story said if the lovers rang that bell, they will live happily forever.

On the second day, we went shopping. We went to Guam Premium Outlet. There were a lot of clothes, shoes, ornaments, and some cosmetic. We lingered there whole morning. There, I bought a hat. After that, we took the boat and went scuba diving. That’s first time I went scuba diving in my life. The skipper said if the weather was better, we could see dolphins. After the special experience, we went back to our hotel. There was a beautiful sea by our hotel. So we went to the beach and played over there. We found sea cucumber, hermit Crab and some little fish, and it was very interesting.

On the third day, we went P.I.C, the largest water park in Guam. My sister and I did not like water, so we decided to do other activities. First, we went to a church in P.I.C. It was a film location in the movie The Fierce Wife. It was very beautiful; I almost thought that I am living in the post card then! After wards, we went shopping. We went to the local convenient store, it was special. They had ice-cream, some drinks I had never drunk, stuffed buns, and a giant machine that sells large cola. During dinner time, my sister and I were full and we went to K-mart. K-mart is a local supermarket in Guam. If you want to go there on foot, you will feel very tired. We went there and bought some special local snacks and drinks. It was fun to sit in a restaurant and watch a show.

On the last day, we woke up at 3a.m. because we had to board the plane at 5:30. We all were tired then but we still did not want to go home. Guam was a beautiful place. If I could, I will go back there travel again and again.

     Everyone has something to do, and so do I. Being a fantasy novel writer is my goal in life. When I was a little child, I loved reading, but well-known stories can’t satisfy me, so I myself decide to create a dream world, which is full of magical things. Except for being a fantasy novel writer, I also want to open a coffee house. When I am walking on the street, I’m attracted by the smell of coffee. It not only eases the tension of busy city life but makes people relaxed; therefore, I want to be a coffee house owner. In addition, traveling around the world is also a dream in my mind. I like to watch some TV programs about other countries when I am free. The sights of different countries catch my eyes, and even intrigue me to wonder the life over there; because of that, traveling abroad is an ambitious goal to me.

     I want to be a fantasy novel writer. A dream world isn’t limited by mundane regulations, so I can write everything I want in my novels, and share them with others. For making this dream come true, I have to read novels to learn how to write beautiful sentences and attractive stories. Keeping diaries also help me sharpen my writing skills; therefore, keeping diaries are important for me. Although these two things are important for me, there is still one thing no less than them, that’s enjoying my life. Sometimes, I am enlighten by sights around myself thoughts about my stories.

     Being an owner of a coffee house is also my goal. I have to prepare funds for buying a store and providing coffee services. I can sell my novels and study hard to receive a scholarship to earn money. Also, I need to learn how to make different kinds of coffee and mouthwatering desserts. Taking a part-time job in a coffee house may help me a lot, because I can learn lessons from the job and improve skills. Furthermore, designing a cozy environment to make people feel comfortable is also indispensable. People always find the shops which make them feel just like home. Visiting various shops make me realize what is the best environment for my shop, and I can get some information and design my shop.

     Finally, traveling around the world is many people’s dream, and so do I. European countries will be the first places waiting for my visit. Traveling abroad can boarden my view, but if I don’t have a plan first, there will be lots of unnecessary cost during my trip. Saving money is essential, I can save money by my salary or sell some second-hand items and my own novels.. Also, I need to realize national traditions through extensive reading or TV programs, such as National Geography Channel. Most importantly, learning languages might help me easily communicate with local people when I need some help.

     Where there is a will, there is a way. I believe if I try my best to pursuit my goals, someday my goals will be attainable and become my precious memories at last.

      My family and I go to Kaohsiung this summer vacation. I do not go to Kaohsiung very often so I was very excited since I first heard it. When we arrived in Kaohsiung, the weather was sunny and we were hungry, so we went to the Far Eastern Department Stores. We entered an expensive ice cream store called “coldstone”. I bought a chocolate ice cream and my sister did, too. After eating ice cream, we went to the highest building of the southern Taiwan-85 Sky Tower Hotel.

      In the hotel, the scenery is beautiful and their bathroom is in high quality. Except for them, everything is as usual. In fact, I felt a little disappointed. For dinner, we went to a night market. I ate a very big fried shrimp. In the shrimp, there is much cheese and a little curry. By the way, we saw someone taking a program. I do not know what the program is, but I think my face is not on TV.

      The next morning, we go to Cijin Street. There is a little boring for me, but the only thing attracts my attention is a lot of delicious food, like barbecue squid, however most of it is not yummy. We spent too much money, so we don’t go anywhere after we went to Cijin Street. We just stay in my relative’s house and save money.

        We spent a lot of money on the trip but I really enjoy this trip and I look forward to the next time when I go to Kaohsiung.

    Men are great for the dreams they have. But before the dream comes true, they have to make efforts. And my dream is to be a person who takes care of the animal in the future.

     When I was a little child I watched the animal planet channel every day, and I wanted to learn about the animals' properties and habitual behavior. Sometimes I pretend to be some animals at home to show my family. I remember when I first went to the zoo, I was so excited, and during the trip I kept talking and laughing with my brother all the time. When we got there I saw many different animals in the cages, including elephants, camels, aciatic tapirs, clouded leopards. More than one hundred animals in the zoo. At that day, I spent the whole day in the zoo, and I did not want to go home just because I wanted to see them more. I like the animals very much, so I want to work on something about animals, but in Taiwan only one school has such courses and to get this this job is very difficult. But if I have the chance, I will go to zoo or a wildlife protective zone other country, so now I have to study hard at school to get more chances for my life.

     Everyone's job is not the same. But the only thing that all people have to do is to keep struggling and trying. If I do not give up, I will have more chances to make my dream come true.

    Have you ever thought about what to do in the future? Actually I did. I thought about being an English teacher when I was a kindergartener. My parents both hope that I can be an English teacher when I grow up, so they brought me to a private English school to study English. Both of them expect I can become a teacher who will be respected by others in the future. I do not want to disappoint them. I must work hard to complete my dream.

    I think teachers are students’ friends. A teacher is not just a person who teaches lessons to students and gives them homework. Teachers can listen to what we students are thinking about, and help us solve our problems. In my mind, teachers are just like angels, helping students with what they need, and teaching them a lot of knowledge.

    I want to be an English teacher not just because I can earn more money. It is because I can try to comfort the students. I want to let my students know that teachers are not as bad-hearted as they think. I will tell them I have also been a student. I can understand their feelings. I do not want them to have a bad impression on teachers.

    Teachers have their responsibility to teach students. If they loaf on their job, they may lose their jobs. I want to be an English teacher in the future, and I know that teachers are very toilsome. In fact, each job has a certain kind of difficulty. What I have to do is that I have to work very hard to complete my dream.

     My mother has a coffee shop, so she is good at making coffee. Every morning, she usually makes different kinds of coffee for me. The coffee tastes great. I think my mom is a master at making coffee. For this reason, I want to learn how to make good coffee and have my own coffee shop in the future.

     It needs a lot of money to run a coffee shop. From now on, I plan to save at least five millions before I am thirty. To save enough money, I need to win scholarships and have a well-paid job. When I have enough money, I will buy a shop front around a train station because there are many people waiting for the train or going shopping. If they get tired, they could take a rest in my shop and buy a cup of coffee. And, I will buy some good tools and great coffee beans. With the beans, lovely flavor appeals to passersby. The customers who enjoy my coffee recommend my shop to their friends. In that case, there comes free publicity. I will hire a few employees to serve customers and make some snacks. TV advertisements are also needed. With all my heart, I will make an advertisement which could attract people a lot.

     Learning some skills of making coffee is very important. Good skills can make good coffee, and good coffee is the soul of a coffee shop. However, if the coffee tastes bad, the coffee shop will soon become bankrupt. For avoiding that, I learn the skills with my mom, like how to make latte, expresso, cappuccino, and Americano and do Latte Art. It may attract more and more people to enjoy my coffee. Many girls are much willing to buy coffee if there are some beautiful pictures on the coffee. When I finish learning those basic skills, I am going to get a part-time job to gain practical experiences at a coffee shop, like 85℃. After learning for four or five years, I would start my own coffee shop.

I hope my shop can be well-known in Taiwan, and even in other countries. I want to have a coffee shop full of coffee lovers from every country, and everyone in my shop is happy and satisfied because of my coffee and desserts. I look forward to that.
